Friday, July 3 – 4:30pm – evening
Please arrive by 3:00 pm to allow yourself time to settle in before we gather.
We’ll begin at 4:30 pm with an opening circle to connect, share intentions, and review the weekend schedule—your presence for this is important.
After our ceremony, we’ll gather for a delicious, nourishing dinner (provided), then close the evening with a relaxing Yoga Nidra and Sound bath session in the yurt.

Saturday, July 4 – 8am – evening
We’ll meet bright and early at 8:00 am (after enjoying breakfast on your own) to gather for a mellow Hatha Flow yoga session with pranayama breath work designed intentionally to prepare our bodies and ground us into presence for the hikes. After yoga we’ll pack healthy and nutritional snacks to fuel your hike and set out for a half day hike in the alpine.
On our way back, we’ll stop at a small nearby lake to swim, paddleboard, and maybe spot some local wildlife—including painted turtles.
After returning to For-rest Retreat, you’ll have free time to relax before we gather again for dinner, followed by peaceful Yin Yoga with soothing crystal bowl sound healing shavasana.

Sunday, July 5 – 8am – evening
Our second full day begins at 8:00 am. After breakfast, we’ll gather in the yurt for a refreshing morning yoga session.
Following yoga, we’ll head to a nearby trailhead for a scenic hike with our paddleboards to a pristine alpine lake—perfect for swimming, paddling, and relaxing on the sun-warmed rocks.
We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch together by the water before hiking back down. Once we return to the retreat, we’ll enjoy some free time, eat a nourishing dinner and have a closing circle. We will close out the night with an additional Yoga Nidra and sound bath session and a fire (or sauna) for anyone who wants to stay up for a bit.

Monday, July 6
Wake up and depart on your own time before 11:00 am.
We will have coffee and tea available in the morning.

“Highly recommend a retreat with these two amazing, strong, caring two individuals! The food was amazing, the views were great on the hikes and they helped me push myself and be so proud of the outcome of the weekend.” ~ 2024 participant
“What a fabulous weekend Johanna and Chevayo gave us! These two women are so strong and encouraging. The food was incredible, the yoga and sound bath fabulous. I was so worried as to whether I could carry my paddle board on my back for the required time. They both were so helpful and encouraging. The places were stunning. Waterfalls ,turtles and dragonflies….The sharing and bonding of the guests was amazing. It really made me think of how I can grow in my own life and be the strong capable woman I am.” – 2024 participant
