Join us at For-rest retreat for a cozy and intimate yurt concert and tapas, featuring Cellist Jeff Faragher & Fiddler Brie Hurlbert performing Celtic Songs.

COST:  Sliding Scale $55-70/ person

All proceeds will go towards the May, 2026 Dandelion festival

The Salmo Dandelion Festival is dedicated to fostering wellness and community connection. Set in the tranquil surroundings of Salmo BC, our festival brings together a diverse range of wellness practitioners, offering workshops, treatments, and community events. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals towards a healthier lifestyle through engaging and educational events that promote holistic well-being.

Jeff Faragher Bio

Jeff Faragher is a professional cellist, conductor, and music educator based in Canada’s Kootenay region, known for his vibrant performances, versatile style blending classical with Celtic/jazz, and leadership as the Music & Artistic Director for the Symphony of the Kootenays (SOTK). A classically trained cellist from McGill and the University of Alberta, he’s an active soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player, often guest conducting and teaching, bridging professional performance with community engagement.

Brie Hurlbert Bio

At age 5, Brie began classically studying violin but she always enjoyed playing fiddle for fun. Later she honed her fiddling skills as she studied with Buddy McMasterat the Gaelic School of Celtic Arts at Cape Breton and learned bluegrass fiddle techniques with John Showman. As singer and fiddler, Brie played with the “Kootenay Grass Company” and currently plays with the Symphony of the Kootenays. She is an experienced teacher of violin and fiddle techniques and currently teaches 20-25 students from children to adults. Brie has been participating in and assisting with Chamber Strings since 2014. She facilitates our Evening Fiddle Fun event at the lovely Gyro Park.

Bring your own beverages of choice (water will be proivided)

Note that there will be 5 tables of 8, so you will be sharing a table with others. There are 2 private bistro tables available for couples for $70/person.
