A cozy immersion of wellness practices seeding beautiful intentions for the Springtime. Restful and uplifting, our retreat will explore Wellness workshops (Breath, Yoga, meditation, sound healing, qigong, forest walks, medicinal wild foraging ) along with free time for deep rest or journaling. Be nourished by organic locally sourced vegan foods high in proteins and nutrients that are rich in flavour and delicious while cleansing. re-awaken a connection to inner joy and vitality with a Sauna and cold plunge session.

Join us on this two day spring rejuvenation for a total reset! Option to attend one day or both.

    • Breath work ~ Wim Hof breathing exercises to help keep down stress, improve sleep, and improve health & wellbeing.
    • Gentle crystal bowl sound bath bringing you back to your root chakra and true self
    • Forest Bathing walk to connect with nature using all your senses.
    • Cleansing smoothies, elixirs, juices, teas and vegan light lunches and snacks included in your day made with all organic ingredients.

Saturday

10am —Circle/ ceremony -setting intentions and letting go of what doesn’t serve us.
10:30– Yoga Flow – Somatic intuitive movement focused on gentle twists for cleansing organs and Vagus nerve stimulation.
11:45– Snack & Tea Break
12:15 Forest walk and wild crafting cleansing plants with Keri
1:30– Lunch/ Free time rest and relaxation
3-4–Breath work with Wahsontiio
4pm Closing Circle followed by sauna and cold plunge

Sunday

10:00 Circle gathering
10:15-11 yoga flow with guided meditation and pranayama breath.
Tuning fork sound healing shavasana
11-12:00 break/ snack -rest
12-1 Peaceful Qigong with Amanda
1-2 Lunch/Free time
2-3 Shinrin Yoku (Forest bathing) walk. Learn the Japanese art of being in nature
3:15 – 4 Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing
4pm connecting circle and closing ceremony followed by sauna & cold plunge

The Nourishment

Our spring menu is a celebration of renewal—fresh, vibrant, and deeply nourishing. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to gently support the body’s natural cleansing process while restoring energy and vitality after the heaviness of winter. Seasonal greens, sprouted grains, and crisp vegetables bring a sense of lightness, while citrus, herbs, and fermented foods awaken digestion and strengthen immunity. With simple yet flavourful preparations, every bite invites the body to reset and thrive. All lunches and snacks are lovingly prepared by a certified natural chef, ensuring that each meal is as wholesome and revitalizing as it is delicious.

The Facilitators

Chevayo Roddick

Chevayo has 200 Hatha Heart RYT (Nelson BC) , 200 RYT Vinyasa Yoga (Tulum, Mexico). And continuing education in Anusara yoga alignment and Trauma informed yoga. She is also a certified Sound Healer.

Chevayo will be leading a spring detox Vinyasa flow, a sound healing session and co-facilitating the retreat.

Johanna Mickle

Johanna Mickle

Johanna became a certified natural chef at Bauman College in Boulder, Colorado and is excited to prepare some delicious and nutritious food for the retreat.
Johanna will also be leading the forest bathing walk and helping facilitate the retreat.

Amanda Ing

Amanda
Amanda has been teaching movement and breath practices, macrobiotics, bikram yoga, reflexology and more since 2005. Winnipeg was her home for many years where she pursued her own wellness business and hot yoga studio, then onto Fernie, and now here living and loving her new home in Salmo.

Keri Fox

Keri Fox
Keri moved to Salmo from Moose Jaw, SK over a year ago and is grateful to call the Kootenays home. She is in her 3rd year of professional training as a clinical herbalist and creates healing remedies for Fox Botanicals. She has been growing herbs and making medicines for herself and family for over 10 years.  Keri will be leading a spring plant detox walk.

Adam Morris

Adam
Wasontiio, known to most by Adam, is of the Mohawk Nation in Kahnawake. He has recently come to the Kootenays to call these lands his new home.

He holds safe and sacred space for deep connection work, be it fun Theatre games, Nonviolent Communication, or guiding the inner depths of Breathwave and other breath work.
